Eide/Stachiewicz

The Norwegian duo Erlend Eide and Margaret Stachiewicz played together as early as 1992, and now they are back on the road as a permanent duo. In 2025 they have toured with Brahms, Honegger and Weber.

Margaret was born in England of Polish parents. She began playing the piano at the age of eight and at thirteen made her first concert appearance in Mozart’s G major concerto. She studied at the Guildhall School of Music. Since 1981 she has lived in Trondheim, Norway, and was employed as piano teacher and accompanist at NTNU until 2025.
