Band Conductor

Erlend started conducting and building amateur bands as a first year student in Bergen. From 1991 to 2019, he conducted at least one permanent band, in addition to projects and guest appearances. For many years he was engaged by the Norwegian Band Federation as a band camp musical director and regional band conductor. In 2025 he received The Norwegian Band Federation’s medal of honor for conductors for his many years of service.

He may be available for occasional projects and guest appearances upon request in addition to play/conduct as a soloist.
